Kautz Glacier, Mt. Rainier - June 2025

As summer begins to embrace the mountain, a close group of friends travel from Portland to climb Washington's highest peak. Low hanging clouds and fog sheltered them from the hot sun on their ascent to Camp Hazard. Their summit push was on a clear, windless morning underpinned by a growing excitement as they ran out of mountain to climb. Elation on the summit follow by reflection and laughs back at camp.
